The Week in Review

Feels like it was pretty long, but also feels like it was a good week. Tuesday night saw us getting fine-dined and wined courtesy of work, at Arbitrageur in Wellington, giving the new recruits chance to get to know us and James (regional MC) a bit better.
I still can't get over Ciaran landing sometime Sunday and being in work on the Monday! Flippin' heck that's rough, I reckon, his body clock is even now probably still somewhere short of the local timezone.

Thursday night HP paid for pool and pizza night, down at Courtenay Place, which gave me chance to appreciate again how poor I am at pool! At least it was a night-out and chance for everyone to socialise.

We got viewing on Thursday evening, which resulted in an offer last night (woo-hoo!), although we're waiting for the prospective purchasers to tackle the issue of the place they're selling before we counter-sign. In the meantime therefore we've still got to clean the place AGAIN from top to bottom for Sunday's Open Home.

Pretty shortly today I'll be off to Whitby, taking part in this month's 24-hour prayer. Its a solo thing undertaken by members of the church I go to - solo in that people tend to do hour-long slots on their own, basically spending time with God, which means praying essentially.
The way I see it, for all the things God's given me, done for me and so on, taking an hour or so out to dedicate to Him isn't exactly that much of an ask.

Laters peeps!
