Acronyms!

Working in IT I obviously know a few. Mostly pretty obscure and pretty unfunny too!

So here's a couple you may or may not know:

PEBCAC - anyone work this one out?

BOBFOC - how about this one? Anyone?

Unusually, these are 6-letter acronyms, when the world is full of mostly 3-letter ones. Interesting huh?

No, probably not, I agree. So have you got any amusing acronyms to share?
Oh, and if you're struggling with the 2 above, the translation is lower down this post.

PEBCAC=Problem Exists Between Computer And Chair
BOBFOC=Body Off Baywatch, Face Off Crimewatch

DSL Stuff

Jay Fields and Zak Tamsen

Couple of dudes working for Thoughtworks gave an interview, recorded and transcripted at the above address, about Domain Specific Languages (DSL).

Interesting stuff, not least when you consider how it could impact traditional development practices.
