For a split second, it even seems like a sensible goal for a chap... be nice to blow the equity on the house wouldn't it!? Surely you might as well, I mean you can't take it with you, like they say.
Most of the time I'm happy to think a bit more like Old Man Scrooge, save the pennies, avoid risky financial ventures etc. And then, just sometimes, I imagine that I don't have to worry about future costs, living expenses etc, and the thought of what you could do without worrying about financial restrictions acts like rocket fuel to the imagination!
Wow!
Seconds later, normal service is (sadly) resumed and logic gets a hold again.

Not implying fault on anyone else's part, but this is probably down to hearing from Tim in Aus, and watching the cracking new Top Gear series over past few weeks
