Been a bit odd of course, not having herself around (to nag :-) ) but at least I've been able to go and see the new Star Wars Clone Wars film, without any guilty feelings or need to agree to taking 'someone' to see e.g. Mama Mia, if you know what I mean...
Went along to church this morning, although I was late geting out of the apartment and almost missed the replacement bus service to Porirua. Another good sermon by Pete, who's great at making the subject personal as well as powerful: glad I made the effort to go, particularly as I sensed beforehand that niggling goading that there wouldn't be any point and what use am I to God, which I'd say was a bit of venom from the devil's forces - anything to keep a christian away from church eh!
If I can summon the enthusiasm, I'm going to try and work out this afternoon what I'm doing by way of a pet Ruby on Rails project which I've neglected for some time now... here's hoping it proves to be sufficiently interesting!
