arrived today, charged it up, off I went!
Pretty pleased so far, its a handy size, unlike the iPhone, and the interface is good, as is the screen. Even comes with a useful alternative rear battery cover, which extends into a protective black fabric cover that fits across the front of the phone - neat!
Time will tell if its all its cracked up to be (in the various reviews I read before going for it).
Note, I chose a Nokia 6500 Slide Black initially, but it didn't work when it arrived - on speaking to Orange Repairs Dept the guy told me not to go for the same Nokia again, as he's seen so many of them come back to be fixed! People take note.

Can you make calls on it as well as all the other crap that they do these days?
yes amazingly you can use it to make calls!
