South Island Touring Holiday

Having cut it short by a day, we're now back in Welly and its Friday! Should have been returning today but we got the ferry yesterday after realising that 2 nights in Blenheim would be a bit pointless - no offense, people of Blenheim, but I'm sure you understand...

I don't think I can put all my thoughts down in this one post, I'll need to think about things to get my ideas in some order, so watch out for one in a day or so detailing all that we did and saw.

Nonetheless, fabulous little adventure, seen some amazing stuff, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone even slightly impressed by scenery and nature. More to follow folks.

Nearly Holiday Time!

Sharon's Mum, June, that is. And the following day, Saturday, we're off on the South Island adventure! Can't wait! Hasn't felt all that 'real', a bit like Xmas looming, but now all of a sudden I can almost sense the trip - magic!

Starting off at Abel Tasman with 2 days to rest and wander the beaches, we then head off down the West Coast and to Queenstown via the glaciers, then Dunedin, Tekapo, Christchurch and back up to Blenheim!

Something over 2000 km of driving and 13 days... awesome!
