End of Summer?

Wow! Things turned really nasty around here last night, ok it wasn't sunny and pleasant yesterday, like it has been of late, but I didn't expect the hurricane that swept across Wellington during the night, dropping about 25mm of water apparently!



On the plus side, the folks made it in on Saturday afternoon on the scheduled flight, though their suitcases stayed in Sydney to do a bit of sight-seeing and only turned up Sunday morning by courier. We quizzed them on their decision to remain in the humid Aussie sweatbox and they admitted it was cos they'd heard there was a beach volleyball tournament over at Manly they knew would be 'kwality'!
